Kadyrov about bombing of IS: Putin to restore order in Syria

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has proposed to engage ground forces in addition to the Russian air forces to combat the "Islamic State" (IS), recognized as a terrorist organization.

Today, aircrafts of the Russian aerospace forces have launched airstrikes in Syria. The information about the beginning of the Russian military operation in Syria was confirmed to the media by Major General Igor Konashenkov, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Russian Federation.

"At present, Russia is combating international terrorism. We all see how terrorists kill civilians there and how terrorists make threats against our country. The question is why should we wait for them at home, if we can destroy them in their own lair? And in this case, the Russia's decision fully complies with international rules," Ramzan Kadyrov has said.

"We are sad that now, the operation involves only air forces and engages no infantry forces. Unfortunately, Chechens still have no opportunity to take part in the fight against these devils. I'm sure that we should use there not only the air forces, but also the infantry forces. The sooner we liquidate the IS, the safer we will be living in the world community," the Chechen leader has stated.
