Law enforcers have found no members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) in the village of Zayukovo, and in that regard, the regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) was canceled at 1:45 p.m. Moscow time, the operative headquarters for KBR reports.

Today, at 5:00 a.m. Moscow time, the CTO regime has been introduced in the Baksan District. According to a source from the law enforcement bodies, quoted by the RIA "Kabardino-Balkaria", in the vicinity of the village of Zayukovo, law enforcers encountered militants, who took refuge in a dugout and opened fire on them. However, at about 1:25 p.m. Moscow time, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a source from the law enforcement bodies that "the information about the fire contact did not correspond to reality."

At 2:00 p.m. Moscow time, the operative headquarters for KBR announced the termination of the CTO regime.

According to a source from the secret services of KBR, special forces conducted reconnaissance in the forest near the village of Zayukovo.

"It appeared to be impossible to find a militants' camp in the detected area. At present, units are returning to their bases," the RIA "Kabardino-Balkaria" quotes the source as stating.
