Activist of "Left-Wing Front" in Krasnodar faces arrest for reposting caricatures

The administrative case against Yulia Usach, an activist of the "Left-Wing Front", has been sent to the Sovietskiy District Court of Krasnodar; she is accused of reposting caricatures depicting nazi swastika.

The date and time of the court session on her case are not known yet. "I didn't receive any summon; today I called the office of the court, but they couldn't specify the date of the consideration of my case," Yulia Usach told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to her story, on July 1 she was visited at her work by an employee of the "E" (Extremism) division and said that he "was examining Yulia Usach's posts in the VKontakte social network for the presence of extremist content."

The employee said that the police "had received a complained from a woman-citizen who complained about the content of Internet pages" of the Krasnodar activists Yulia Usach, Darya Polyudova and Victor Chirikov.

"They didn't show me the complaint; and I think it was a fictional person," said Yulia. She associates her persecution with her oppositional activities and her participation in rallies held in Krasnodar.
