Leader of Georgian Laborites disappeared

Tbilisi's Mtsatsminda-Krtsanissky district police are searching for the chairman of the Tbilisi organization of the Labor Party, Vazha Shengelia. He was last seen at 2 a.m. on March 30, in the yard of his brother's house.

Members of the party assert Vazha Shengelia was abducted. According to the Laborites' information, Shengelia was abducted by four gunmen in the yard of his brother's house.

The police have not confirmed the fact of the abduction yet, and the prosecutor's office has not instituted criminal proceedings so far.
