Aircraft with soldiers wounded in Chechnya made emergency landing in Voronezh
The Yak-40 aircraft, being en route from Grozny to Moscow with wounded soldiers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), made an emergency landing in Voronezh. This was reported by a source from the Voronezh Regional Hospital.
The emergency landing was made at about 6:30 p.m. Moscow time on November 13.
Ambulances brought six wounded soldiers to the Regional Hospital. Two soldiers are in serious condition, and the condition of the four others is stable. They were wounded in Chechnya, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to the source from the Regional Hospital.
According to the preliminary information, the emergency landing was caused by the problem with the chassis, the RIA "Voronezh" reports.
It was not reported when the soldiers transported by the aircraft were wounded.
