Krasnodar Territory: man disappears after arrest

In the Gulkevichy District of the Krasnodar Territory, law enforcers search for a local resident, who disappeared after an administrative arrest for five days. The criminal case has been instituted into the fact of his disappearance. This was reported by the Regional Investigating Department of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The complaint about the disappearance of the 34-year-old Karo Arutyunyan has been filed by his relatives.

During the initial investigation, it was revealed that the man was serving an administrative sentence in the form of five-day arrest and that he was kept in specialized investigating premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Russian Federation for the Gulkevichy District. After the expiration of the man's sentence, his relatives came to the building of the police station to meet him; however, he never came out of the building.

Meanwhile, investigators revealed that some acquaintances of the disappeared man saw him after he had served his administrative sentence.

At present, investigators are carrying out all the necessary actions aimed at revealing the whereabouts of the missing man and all the circumstances of the incident that happened to him. This was reported by the today's statement posted on the website named "News of Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation".
