Yerevan Mayoralty bans Raffi Ovannisyan's rallies on February 23-25

The Mayoralty of the capital of Armenia has rejected the application submitted by Armen Martirosyan, a representative of the leader of the "Heritage" Party Raffi Ovannisyan, on holding rallies on February 23-25 in Freedom Square.

On February 20, Armen Martirosyan applied for rallies to be held on February 23, 24 and 25 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. On the next day, February 21, he was invited to the Mayoralty, where he was informed that a notification about an action should be submitted at least seven days in advance.

A Mayoralty official told Martirosyan about this violation, the "News-Armenia" reports.
