Yeni Musavat newspaper staff continue hunger strike
Staff of the Yeni Musavat newspaper (Editor's note: It is the main opposition newspaper in Azerbaijan) continue a hunger strike. The hunger strikers are protesting against the pressure on the Yeni Musavat, appearing in demands to pay court fines, the total sum of which comes to 733 million manats (about $150 thousand), reminded Gabil Abbasoglu, deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper.
According to Mr Abbasoglu, another four people joined the five participants in the action on March 18. The latter experience no health problems so far.
