Irina Sarishvili calls upon NGOs to demand to stop blockade against Adjaria

The leader of the NGO League of People's Defense, ex-parliamentarian Irina Sarishvili-Chanturia, calls upon all non-government forces and non-government organizations (NGOs) to demand that the blockade against Adjaria be stopped.

"This blockade will not touch rich people," Ms Sarishvili says. These actions of the authorities are an attempt to distract attention from the budget crisis expected in April, Irina Sarishvili-Chanturia said at a press conference held in the office of the League.

According to her, "It is a struggle to get hands on the Batumi port between "Soros people" and local functionaries."
