OSCE to do its best to facilitate talks between Baku and Yerevan on Karabakh

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is inclined to facilitate talks on the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict around Nagorny Karabakh. The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Passy, announced it at a press conference, summarizing results of his visit to Baku.

"We are ready to facilitate the negotiation process between the conflict parties. The OSCE is ready to do everything depending upon us for it," Mr Passy said to journalists.

At his meeting with Azerbaijan President Ilkham Aliyev, Solomon Passy discussed issues of the Karabakh conflict resolution, the problem of democracy development in the republic, and a wide range of issues concerning bilateral cooperation.
