"Rospotrebnadzor" has completed second inspection of Georgian wineries

The second group of specialists of the "Rospotrebnadzor" (Russian Federal Agency for Consumer Supervision), which was engaged, since April 2, in inspecting Georgian wineries, wishing to supply their products to the Russian Federation, has completed its work.

"The inspection is over; and they return. There were no unforeseen circumstances," said the chief Russia's sanitary doctor and the head of "Rospotrebnadzor" Gennady Onischenko.

This information was confirmed by the press service of the Georgia's National Wine Agency: "The inspection went according to the schedule, without any obstacles."

The experts of the "Rospotrebnadzor" were divided into three groups – two persons in each – and conducted inspections of companies in different regions of Georgia. In total, 35 companies were inspected, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

According to Mr Onischenko, it is not planned so far to send the third inspection group to the enterprises willing to export their products to Russia, the "Interfax" reports.
