Duma member sees no politics in denial of visa to Lord Judd

The denial of a visa to Lord Judd, the former rapporteur on Chechnya to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, was not motivated politically, said Konstantin Kosachiov, head of the Duma international affairs committee. He said the denial of a visa was linked with some technical reasons - Lord Judd mentioned the wrong host information in his papers. He wrote the Duma invited him, whereas he is going to attend an international congress in Moscow. The Russian Foreign Ministry suggested that Judd does his paperwork once again to get a visa.
