Villagers of Gubden demand solving murder of medrese teacher as soon as possible

Residents of the village of Gubden, Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan, have held a non-sanctioned action with a demand to hurry with solving the murder of the medrese director Magomed Biyarslanov, who was shot dead in his own house.

"All the Muslims have perceived with bitter and pain the murder of the religious figure, the person who had committed himself to the spread of the word of the Almighty Allah, and the director of the Gubden medrese," the portal "islamdag.ru" quotes Akhmad Abdulaev, Chaiman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of Dagestan and the Republic's Mufti, as saying.

Om March 5, Gubden hosted an action of villagers with a demand to solve Biyarslanov's murder within three days. The rally that was not coordinated with the village administration was about 1500 strong.

The "Interfax" reports with reference to a source from law enforcement bodies that the rally was attended by the Minister of Interior of Dagestan and the head of the Karabudakhkent District. Soon after, the rally dispersed.
