Ukraine extradites second suspect of planning attempt on Vladimir Putin to Russia

The Court of Appeal of the Odessa Region has made the final decision to extradite to Russia Ilya Pyanzin, a citizen of Kazakhstan, suspected of planning the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced by Elena Abramova, Spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office of the Odessa Region.

"The Court dismissed the lawyer's appeal in the interest of Ilya Pyanzin on cancellation of the decision of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine on extradition to the Russian Federation for bringing to criminal responsibility for very serious crimes," Elena Abramova has explained.

The Court has pronounced the decision on August 20, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

Thus, the Court of Appeal has confirmed the decision of the Malinovsky Court of Odessa, which upheld the decision of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine to extradite Ilya Pyanzin to the Russian Federation, the "Interfax" reports.
