Stavropol Territory: 11 victims of armed conflict in the second quarter of 2012
In the territory of the Stavropol Territory, in April, May and June 2012, at least eleven persons fell victim to the ongoing North-Caucasian armed conflict; of them nine persons were killed and two wounded. These are the results of calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", based on its own materials and information from open sources.
The death toll includes nine persons involved, according to law enforcement bodies, in the armed underground. Two civilians were wounded.
In June, the Territory had no victims, in May one person was wounded; while in April there were 10 victims: two casualties and one wounded person.
One should understand that the above statistics cannot reflect with absolute accuracy the number of victims in each of the identified categories of the survey. Not all the data gets into news reports. It is not always possible to verify the reliability of statements made by law enforcement bodies.
In the first quarter of 2012, according to estimates of the "Caucasian Knot", the Stavropol Territory had one victim of the armed conflict - a man was wounded.
In 2011, the Territory had 24 victims: 17 persons were killed and seven more wounded.
