Ingushetia: 36 persons fell victim to armed conflict in the second quarter of 2012

In April, May and June 2012, in the territory of Ingushetia, at least 36 persons suffered in the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus; of them 14 persons were killed and 22 more wounded. These are the results of calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", based on its own materials and information from open sources.

The death toll includes four power agents, seven individuals involved, according to law enforcers, in the armed underground, and three civilians.

The list of wounded persons includes 16 law enforcers and six civilians.

In June, 23 persons fell victim to the armed conflict: 6 were killed and 17 more wounded. According to updated information, May took away one victim - a law enforcer was killed. In April, there were 12 victims: 7 casualties and 5 wounded persons.

One should understand that the above statistics cannot reflect with absolute accuracy the number of victims in each of the identified categories of the survey. Not all the data gets into news reports. It is not always possible to verify the reliability of statements made by law enforcement bodies.

During the first quarter of 2012, according to estimates by the "Caucasian Knot", at least 16 persons fell victims of the armed conflict in Ingushetia, including 9 casualties and 7 wounded persons.

During 2011, at least 108 persons suffered; of them 70 persons were killed and 38 more were wounded.
