Court fines oppositionists, detained in Krasnodar on Day of Russia, for disobeying police
The court fined each of opposition activists Yegor Laskin and Viktor Chirikov, detained on June 12 in Krasnodar, 500 roubles for disobeying police.
Let us remind you that on June 12, in Chistyakov Grove in Krasnodar, activists from the public and Krasnodar Regional Branch of the "Left-Wing Front" and the "Yabloko" Party held a rally within the All-Russian action "March of Millions".
The action was held without incidents. Then, the group of the participants came to the monument to the Cossacks near the regional administration building, where Yegor Laskin and Viktor Chirikov were detained. They were charged of violating the order of organizing the rally and of disobeying police.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that today the judge considered only the protocols, completed under Article 03.19 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (disobeying a lawful order of a police officer). Both oppositionists admitted their guilt. The court fined each of them 500 roubles.
The protocols, completed under Article 20.02 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (violation of established order of organizing or holding a rally) were not considered. The judge returned them to the police with the wording "to correct inaccuracies and contradictions."
