Unidentified persons in Stavropol region burned down the campaign office of a nominee as municipal deputy of Lermontov
Tonight unidentified persons in Stavropol region burned down the campaign office of Alexander Dunaev, ex-Head of Lermontov, nominee as deputy of the City Council of the fifth convocation, representatives of the office reported.
It should be reminded that in March regional Election Committee formed a temporary election commission for holding early election of Council of Deputies of the town of Lermontov. As of May, 2, 11 candidates for the election were registered.
”Alexander Dunaev’s campaign office was pelted with petrol bombs. It is currently being established whether it was benzene or kerosene”, a representative of the campaign office explained.
According to him, a room of about 40 square meters with office equipment and documents was burned down, “Interfax” reports.
According to the information available, nobody was injured as a result of the emergency, STRC “Stavropolye” reports.
