Condition of two girls from Tyrnyauz hurt in road accident in Stavropol Territory is better
Malika Aishaeva and Yulianna Khasieva, who were transferred to the Moscow Speransky Children's Clinical Hospital after the road accident near the village of Inozemtsevo, are on the way to recovery. The condition of two other girls – Irina Geiko and Alexandra Samakovskaya – is assessed as grave, said the Department of Paediatrics and Surgery of the Hospital.
In total 17 persons were hospitalized after the accident. Four girls in serious condition were taken to Moscow; the remaining 13 victims were hospitalized in the central city hospital of Pyatigorsk, and then transferred to hospitals in Kabardino-Balkaria.
To date, eight victims are still in hospitals. Four girls are treated at the Moscow Speransky Hospital; two adults – the bus driver and a teacher – are taking their treatment at the Republic's Clinical Hospital in Nalchik.
As of the morning on May 26, the Elbrus District Hospital still kept two girls, the others were let home, said the Chief Physician Makhti Atmurzaev. "Maybe on Monday (May 28, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), we'll discharge them," he said.
