Kidnapped resident of Dagestan was earlier detained by police, says his wife
Kamil Mutaev, a resident of the village of Zubutli-Miatli, Kizilyurt District, who was kidnapped in Dagestan, had been earlier detained several times by the police, said his wife Zukhra Mutaeva.
According to her story, on May 2, her husband was kidnapped in the eyes of their 12-year-old son Muraddis by unidentified armed men in camouflage and masks, who took to some unknown place. The whereabouts of Kamil Mutaev is still unknown.
"Earlier, my husband had been detained by law enforcers and brought to the GOVD (City Interior Division) of Kizilyurt, where he was interrogated and released. The last time it was in early March of this year," Zukhra Mutaeva wrote in her application to the HRC "Memorial".
Earlier, Zukhra Mutaeva said that she had addressed the Kizilyurt ROVD (District Interior Divisions), where she was told that they knew nothing about the fate of her husband. The on duty unit of the ROVD has confirmed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent the fact of Mutaeva's appeal, noting that they knew nothing about the incident.
