Dagestani woman states kidnapping of her husband
Zukhra Mutaeva, a resident of the villageof Zubutli-Miatli, Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, claims that her husband KamilMutaev,36, father of four young children, was kidnapped and taken away to some unknown place by armed men in camouflage and masks.
"At 10:00 a.m. my husband left, together with our 12-year-old son Muraddisand a relative, for Khasavyurt to the car market to buy a car battery. After he bought it, he drove to Kizilyurt, where he brought his relative. At 2:00 p.m., in the presence of numerous eyewitnesses, my husband's car was blocked on both sides by Lada Priora cars of silver colour with number plates of the 98thregion. Armed men in camouflage and masks jumped out of them; they pulled the husband and the son out of the car and put them on the ground. Then, they handcuffedthe husband, put him into one of their cars and drove away at high speed to some unknown place," the woman told the"Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Zukhra Mutaeva has noted that she had already applied to the Kizilyurt ROVD (District Interior Division), where she was told that they knew nothing about the fate of her husband.
The on duty unit of the ROVD has confirmed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that Zukhra Mutaevahad addressed them, but said that they knew nothing about the incident. Kamil Mutaev moonlighted at building sites and was registered by local police as a follower of the Salafi trend in Islam.
