Figurant of Kuschevskaya massacre case Sergey Tsepovyaz pleads guilty
Sergey Tsepovyaz, accused of concealing the killing of 12 people in the village of Kuschevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, has fully admitted his guilt. His case will be considered under a special procedure, said Vladimir Markin, the spokesman of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
Tsepovyaz was charged under the article of "crime concealment" of the Russian Criminal Code.
"According to investigators, on November 8, 2010, Tsepovyaz, who was not a member of the "Tsapok gang", while being Deputy Director of the LLC "Artex-Agro" (the company belonging to the family of Sergey Tsapok), in order to conceal the murder of 12 people in the village of Kuschevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, burned down the documents confirming the fact of receiving by the gang member Sergey Karpenko of the fuel at the filling station, which was used later to set on fire the house of the Ametov family and hide the traces of especially serious crimes, committed by the members of the gang," said Mr Markin, as quoted by the ITAR-TASS News Agency.
Sergey Vorobyov, Deputy General Public Prosecutor of Russia, has approved the indictment in the criminal case against Sergey Tsepovyaz, says on the website of the Russia's GPO (General Prosecutor's Office).
