Krasnodar Territory institutes one more criminal case against ecologist Suren Gazaryan

Suren Gazaryan, the activist of the "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus", accused of damaging the fence near the object, which ecologists consider to be the summer cottage belonging to Alexander Tkachov, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, face one more criminal case instituted against him. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Suren Gazaryan himself.

"Another criminal case was instituted against me, now it is the criminal case on the fact of beatings of the security guards," stated Suren Gazaryan. "They got medical records that they had got light injuries after being beaten with a phone and a camera."

According to the ecologist, the criminal case was institutes under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Intentional infliction of light bodily harm."

The criminal case will be considered by the magistrate in Tuapse. The date of consideration has not yet been scheduled.
