ICRF: criminal case of failure to ensure security at "Domodedovo" Airport closed
Criminal prosecution against representatives of the services of the "Domodedovo" Airport, which, according to the investigators' assumption, failed to take measures to prevent the terror act in January of 2011, was terminated. This was reported by Vladimir Markin, Spokesman of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
"The decision to terminate the criminal investigation into the fact of failure to provide transport security at the "Domodedovo" Airport made was made on the basis of sufficient evidence," RIA "Novosti" quoted Vladimir Markin as saying.
However, the Spokesman of the ICRF stated that the criminal case "had revealed single cases of criminal activity of some owners of the property complex of the 'Domodedovo' Airport, in particular, some materials were selected from the terminated criminal case, and on their basis the criminal case was instituted under Article 159 (fraud) and Article 303 (falsification of evidence) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against staff members of the Joint-Stock Company (JSC) 'Commercial Agency of the 'Domodedovo' Airport and other persons," the "Interfax" reports.
Let us remind you that on September 12, 2011, the ICRF withdrew suspicions from the power agents, which were figurants in the criminal case instituted after the terror act at the "Domodedovo" Airport on the fact of failure to provide security at the facilities of transport infrastructure.
