Ingush Security Council does not rule out association of Umar Gadaborshev's murder with clannish conflict
The murder of Umar Gadaborshev, Chairman of Council of Ingush Clans may be connected with the conflict between clans; however, investigators do not rule out other versions. This was reported by the Security Council of the Republic.
"The investigators consider several versions, including the unresolved conflict with one of the Ingush family," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Akhmed Kotiev, Secretary of the Republic's Security Council. He clarified that the criminal case had been initiated under the article "Murder" on the fact of the death of Umar Gadaborshev.
Umar Gadaborshev was killed in the Cossack village of Nesterovskaya this morning. Unidentified man shot several times from a pistol to the 59-year-old Umar Gadaborshev, who was leaving the yard of his house. Being wounded to his head, Chairman of Council of Ingush Clans was delivered to hospital, where he died without regaining consciousness. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a source in the law enforcement agencies of Ingushetia.
"Gadaborshev was only recently elected the head of the Council of clans; however, he took over the tasks designated by the Council with great enthusiasm," said Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the leader of Ingushetia, in his interview to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "He used to be an active and energetic man," he emphasized.
