Rally against "Electrozink" Factory held in Vladikavkaz
More than 200 persons have gathered today to hold a protest action against the work of the "Electrozink" Factory located in the capital of North Ossetia.
The rally was held in Victory Square in Vladikavkaz; and its participants – townspeople, bloggers and journalists – have reacted to the actions of "Electrozink" bosses, who had installed a poster near the enterprise with photos and names of ecologists and inscription "They want to make you jobless".
The protest started this morning on the Internet: residents of Vladikavkaz posted their photos with captions and expression of protest in social networks. The protesters in Victory Square wrote their names on sheets of paper and photographed each other.
According to one of the protesters Alan Bigulov, the number of people who want to join the protest action is growing. During two hours of the action in the square, more than 300 people made their photos. He has noted that they plan to make a video out of these photos.
Alan Bigulov said that the today's rally was a "wave of reaction of non-indifferent citizens to the "black trick", used by the "Electrozink" bosses, who placed a poster with photos and names of ecologists."We've never stood against the workers of 'Electrozink', we're same concerned about their fate. We believe that the factory should also be concerned about this," said Bigulov.
Let us note here that the capital of North Ossetia hosts regular protests against the operation of the metallurgical factory.
