The PACE officials plan to hold meetings with the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Speaker of the National Assembly Samvel Nikoyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, and leaders of the political parties that take part in the elections.
Besides, the PACE delegation plans to meet the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia Tigran Mukuchan, civil society activists and mass media people.
It is assumed that the PACE delegation will publish – based on the outcomes of the visit – a preliminary assessment of the campaign. The final assessment will be given after monitoring by the delegation of 28 observers of direct voting on May 6.
