Mother of Judge Novikov from Sochi pickets building of Russian Government
Today, starting from 1:00 p.m., Tamara Novikova, the mother of Dmitry Novikov, Sochi Judge, holds a single picket in front of the Russian Government in Moscow.
In her hands, she holds posters reading: "I ask to protect my son, Judge Dmitry Novikov, from arbitrariness of judges of the Krasnodar Territory supported by judges from the Supreme Court!", "Did you apply to law enforcement agencies and talk about corruption in government? Get prepared to go to prison!"
"The Russian Government is deaf and dumb to my distress. My son, Judge Dmitry Novikov, made public information about crimes committed by judges of the city of Sochi, who sell Olympic land plots. And my son became a guilty person for the decisions pronounced by other judges!" Tamara Novikova wrote on another one of her posters.
According to Tamara Novikova, officials can see her single picket from their windows. Besides, unidentified people have appeared near her; they say nothing, but call someone on their mobile phones.
The "Caucasian Knot" has no official comments on the picket held by Tamara Novikova.
