Volgograd: protest action "Fools and Roads" scheduled for April 1
On April 1, in Volgograd, protest action against bad roads, entitled "Fools and Roads", will gather 200 vehicles. The protest action is coordinated with the authorities. This was reported by Armen Oganesyan, Chairman of the interregional public organization "Movement of Motorists".
"Two columns, each consisting of 100 cars, will be driving from opposite ends of the city of Volgograd from the Soviet and Traktorozavodskiy Districts toward Square of Fallen Fighters," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Armen Oganesyan, Chairman of the interregional public organization "Movement of Motorists".
According to him, "at 12:00-1:00 p.m., Square of Fallen Fighters will host the protest rally, which will result in appeal to the authorities of the city, region and country asking and demanding to respect the rights of motorists, number of whom in Volgograd exceeds 250,000 persons."
"At the end of the rally, car drivers will take out of their boots damaged tires, on which they will write in the cost with white paint. The damaged tires will be laid out in the form of a pyramid. This will be a 'gift of motorists to the authorities and road services'," Armen Oganesyan has explained.
