Lawyer of Rasul Mirzaev seeks to mitigate charges filed against his client
Lawyer of the defendant Rasul Mirzaev, after whose stroke Moscow resident Ivan Agafonov died, has challenged the Article, under which the athlete faces up to 15 years of imprisonment.
Alexei Libenskoy, the lawyer of Rasul Mirzaev, requests cancellation of the "weighted" Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in the materials of charges "Deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm", the "Interfax" reports.
The complaint has been already filed to the General Prosecutor's Office and the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
According to the lawyer, during the last month, no investigatory actions involving his client have been conducted, "The Moscow Post" reports.
