Victor Dvorakovskiy accused of terrorism admits his guilt partially, his lawyer says
Victor Dvorakovskiy accused of preparing a terror act and of extremism, admits his guilt only partially. This was announced today in Stavropol by his lawyer Vadim Lobanov. Vladimir Skirko, the figurant in the Dvorakovskiy's case, pleaded guilty in full.
Vadim Lobanov, the defender of Victor Dvorakovskiy, reported that his client pleaded guilty. However, the lawyer did not clarified under which Articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, incriminated to Victor Dvorakovskiy, his client pleaded guilty, the "Interfax" reports.
"At present, Dvorakovskiy gave no testimony. He does not say whether he admits his guilt, and if he admits, to what extent," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the lawyer as saying.
According to Vadim Lobanov, at the first hearing, the court will call upon the victims, two of them, and in total, the case involves about 30-40 witnesses.
The lawyer has also stated that the defence had not yet decides what sentence to ask for the defendant. According to Vadim Lobanov, the position of the defence will depend on what position would be taken by the defendant. He has also added that Victor Dvorakovskiy is kept at the SIZO (pre-trial prison) of the city of Stavropol.
Vladimir Skirko, accused of extremism and of illegal purchase and possession of drugs, is also the figurant of the case. Roman Bulakhov, the lawyer of Vladimir Skirko, stated that his client had fully admitted his guilt and repented of his deed.
