In Astrakhan, number of hunger strikers is 14 persons
Today, in Astrakhan, four other persons joined the indefinite hunger strike to protest against the results of the election held on March 4, 2012.
Today, activists Vitaly Proshunin, Oleg and Viktoriya Anikin, and Evgeny Bukrimov joined the hunger-strikers. This was reported by Elena Grebenyuk, the participant of the hunger strike, Chairman of the Control Commission of the Astrakhan Branch of the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia) Party.
Evgeny Roizman, the head of the Foundation "City without Drugs", also met the hunger strikers. Oleg Shein, Chief of Regional Branch of the political party "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" demonstrated Evgeny Roizman documents and video evidence, which, according to him, registered violations committed at the election held on March 4.
"I learned that people are on a hunger strike. I understand how serious their protest is, and I see that their intentions are serious. Of course, I came to see everything by myself," said Evgeny Roizman.
At present, the "Caucasian Knot" does not have comments from the Regional Election Commission and the regional authorities on the recent statements of the hunger strikers.
