At trial on Nalchik attack case two defendants have new advocates
At the trial on the case of the armed attack on Nalchik in October 2005, held at the Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria, a new lawyer has been appointed for defendants Zaur Tokhov and Ruslan Amshukov.
The lawyer Anatoly Kunizhev, who earlier defended the accused men, retired and left the legal profession. The defendants expressed their desire to discuss with their family members the opportunity to hire independent lawyers at their own expense.
At the court session held on March 19, Galina Gorislavskaya, who chaired the process, announced a letter from the Advocates' Chamber of Kabardino-Balkaria, which indicated that the lawyer Murat Ozrokov was appointed to defend Zaur Tokhov and Ruslan Amshukov.
