Azerbaijan authorities consider report by Human Rights Watch to be ordered
The ruling circles in Azerbaijan are incensed over the report by Human Rights Watch (HRW), an international human rights organization, on the human rights situation in the country. The organization spreads "misinformation in order to rehabilitate the criminals", says Zakhida Orudja, an Azerbaijan Parliament member. Deputy executive secretary of the ruling Yeni Azerbaijan party Mubariz Gurbanli considers HRW's report somebody's "order" and expects this document not to have an effect on the public opinion.
