North Ossetia: large families will get land for construction free of charge
On January 27, the North-Ossetian MPs adopted – in the second and final readings – the Law "On Free Provision of Land Plots into Ownership of Large Families".
"The law, which assumes granting land plots after the birth or adoption of the third or subsequent child, was drafted by the republic's government within the initiative of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev," said a source from the parliament's information-analytical centre.
According to his story, regional governments will now enforce the law and define – together with local self-governments – land funds in the regions, within which land plots will be later allocated under the designed mechanism, the "Interfax" reports.
As reported by the "Echo of the Caucasus", North Ossetia has 18,000 families with three or more children.
