Another Georgian soldier lost in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, Shalva Pailodze, a Georgian soldier, was lost at the attack of the Taliban.

The casualty was taking his service in the armed forces of Georgia since 2008 and was decorated by the medal "For participation in peacemaking operations".

According to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Georgia, Corporal Shalva Pailodze died from the wounds sustained in the Taliban attack. However, no mother details were specified.

The MoD has expressed condolences to the family of the perished soldier and assured his relatives of providing the social benefits as established by the legislation of Georgia social, the "Interfax-South" reports.

Corporal Pailodze is the twelfth Georgian serviceman, lost from the start of participation of the Georgian contingent in the ISAF operation under the NATO's auspice in Afghanistan.

According to the MoD, today there are about a thousand Georgian soldiers in Afghanistan.
