The court in Dagestan re-established a widow of a participant of the War on the dwelling waiting list

Public Prosecutor’s office in the Republic of Dagestan re-established the dwelling rights of Aminat Omarova, one-hundred-years-old widow of a participant of the Great Patriotic War, by means of trial.

Aminat Omarova was registered on the waiting list on March, 3, 2009, but on April, 1, 2010, she was excluded from the list of persons needing improvement of dwelling conditions. The respective order was signed by Head of Administration of the town of Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk.

Public prosecutor’s office of the town considered that in this way the legislative regulations of providing the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and members of their families with dwellings were violated. Public prosecutor of the town filed a protest against this official’s order but it was dismissed.

After that, upon Public prosecutor’s demand State Housing Inspection of the republic examined Aminat Omarova’s dwellings and drew up a conclusion of their unsatisfactory state and the absence of the necessary facilities for living. The Department of State Housing Inspection confirmed inadequacy of Omarova’s dwellings to the sanitary standards.

Based on the results of the inspection Public prosecutor’s office of the town submitted a lawsuit to court of acknowledgment of the order of Head of local Administration unlawful. Nagai district court granted Public prosecutor’s demand in full, web-site of Prosecutor General’s of the Russian Federation reports.

Now Aminat Omarova’s turn on the waiting list of citizens needing improvement of dwelling conditions is re-established, RIA “Dagestan” reports.
