A person perished and two more got wounded in a mass scuffle in Rostov region

A resident of Novocherkassk perished as a result of a mass scuffle that took place on January, 2. Two more people were taken to hospital.

“A word battle occurred between two groups of local residents in Novocherkassk which developed into a scuffle with the use of traumatic and hunting weapons. 8 to 10 people from each party took part in it”, a representative of law enforcement bodies reported.

According to him, the reason for the scuffle was a conflict which its participants were going to settle a month after it emerged, supposedly, at one of the wedding parties.

One of the participants of the scuffle was mortally wounded and two more got injured. The police unit which arrived at the site of the scuffle successfully prevented further development of the conflict, “Russian News Service” reports.

The policemen detained three supposed participants of the scuffle. Two wounded men who were in medical centers were taken into custody, “Interfax” reports.
