Ten flights to SFD and NCFD delayed in "Domodedovo"
Today at the Moscow "Domodedovo" Airport, several international and about 20 domestic flights, more than half of them to Southern Russia, were delayed under claimed bad weather conditions at destination airports.
According to the online departure data on the "Domodedovo" website, the following flights were delayed: to Grozny due at 8:30 a.m. Moscow time; to Rostov-on-Don – at 9:05 a.m. and 1:05 p.m.; to Volgograd – at 9:30 a.m. and 10:05 a.m.; to Anapa – at 1:55 p.m.; to Sochi – at 1:25 p.m.; to Stavropol – at 1:15 p.m.; to Nalchik – at 2:00 p.m.; and to Makhachkala – at 2:05 p.m. Besides, the flight to Tbilisi, due to take off at 1:05 p.m., departed with a slight delay.
"The 'Domodedovo' Airport is closely monitoring what is happening; the situation is under control," the "Interfax" quotes Ms Selyanchikova as saying.
According to a source from the airport, the general situation in "Domodedovo" was normal; there were no crowding and lack of seats in the waiting halls, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
All the delayed flights were dispatched from 4:00 p.m. to 7:55 p.m. Moscow time.
