In Dagestan, Nadyr Yunusov released from custody
Today, Nadyr Yunusov, a policeman of the Khasavyurt ROVD, who had been arrested on charges of complicity in the attempt on Natalia Mamedkerimova, a division head of the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan, was released from custody.
Sapiyat Magomedova, Yunusov's advocate, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that she was told at the Investigatory Department for Dagestan of the ICRF that there was a statement to stop the prosecution of her client.
"I didn't see the statement yet, but I was told by the investigator that Yunusov was released, because all the accusations of participating in the attempt on Natalia Mamedkerimova had been removed from him," said the lawyer.
So far, the Investigatory Committee has not commented the termination of the criminal action against Yunusov, but confirmed the fact of his release.
On July 19, an unidentified criminal made a shot at Mamedkerimova at the entrance of her house; she received an arm injury. Eyewitnesses said that they saw a white Priora car at the moment of the attack. In the evening on July 21, traffic police stopped a car of this model, driven by Nadyr Yunusov, and charged him of complicity in the shooting at Mamedkerimova.
According to Magomedova, now Nadyr Yunusov will seek compensation of moral harm.
