ICRF: Nadezhda Gogoleva, Astrakhan school Principal, suspected of excess of power

Representatives of the Chamber of Control and Accounts suspect Nadezhda Gogoleva, Principal of the school No. 74, of excess of power. The inspection of the school revealed a number of violations in financial and economic issues. This was reported by the press service of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) in the Soviet District of the city of Astrakhan.

In September, deputies of the City Duma initiated inspection of the school, headed by Nadezhda Gogoleva. The Principal claimed the political background for the inspection.

"Our decision has no political element. The inspection of the school No. 74 is carried out lawfully," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at that time by Leonid Chirkov, the deputy of the Astrakhan State Duma in the Soviet District.

"In the course of the regular inspection of the school, the representatives of the Chamber of Control and Accounts revealed a number of violations in financial and economic issues. They brought the materials to the ICRF for further investigation. At present, inspection under Article "excess of power" is underway. The decision to institute a criminal case will be made upon investigation results," the "Caucasian Knot" was told in the press service of the ICRF in the Soviet District of the city of Astrakhan.

Supporters of Nadezhda Gogoleva are confident that that initiated inspection is a continuation of the political "persecution" of the Principal.
