In Timashevsk, Prosecutor's Office files lawsuits to recover wage debts to hunger-strikers

The Prosecutor's Office of the Timashevsk District of the Krasnodar Territory sent lawsuits to the court to recover arrears to employees of the LLC (Limited Liability Company) "Yug-S" on a hunger strike since December 16.

"Seven lawsuits to recover arrears of wages to the workers from the LLC 'Yug-S' were directed to the court," stated the Prosecutor's Office of the Timashevsk District.

Presumably, the consideration of the lawsuits will be held on December 28 in Anapa, where the defendant is located, the "Zhivaya Kuban" reports.

Besides, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, the workers were examined by medical officers. According to Vitaly Kazakeev, the foreman of the builders on hunger strike, their health deteriorates. All workers complained of dizziness, nausea, weakness and general malaise, the "Yugopolis" reports.

When the workers demanded that the head of the Timashevsk District Administration should provide facilities for hunger strike, they received a reply, signed by A. D. Pigarev, the deputy head of the Administration, who offered thee workers to stop their hunger strike. In protest, the hunger strikers have decided, despite the deterioration of their health state, to continue the protest action starting December 24 near the buildings of the District Hospital and District Administration. This was reported by the message posted on the website of the Regional Branch of the CPRF (Communist Party of the Russian Federation), which representatives had appealed to the Prosecutor's Office of the fact of arrears of wages to the workers.
