On December 12-18, armed conflict in Northern Caucasus took away 18 lives
At least 18 persons were killed and three more wounded during the week of December 12-18 in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
The death toll includes four law enforcers (two in Dagestan and Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) each), 10 members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) (seven in the KBR and three in Dagestan), and four civilians (three in the KBR and one in Dagestan). In Ingushetia, three soldiers of internal troops were injured.
Three persons were detained for illegal possession of weapons and explosives, including two in Chechnya and one in Dagestan.
