"I was going home after prayer at the mosque. At that moment, policemen from the ROVD (District Interior Division) of the Soviet District of Makhachkala approached me. They told me that they detained me and that they received an order for detention from their chief, who was standing not far from us," said the detainee Idris Yusupov.
