Deputy Head doctor of Budennovsk hospital fined for beating up a journalist
On December, 8, Magistrate's court of Budennovsk, Stavropol region, acknowledged Deputy Head doctor for security in the local hospital guilty of beating up a journalist who was shooting an episode of rape of a child in the hospital.
Deputy judge informed that the employee of the hospital was acknowledged guilty according to clause "deliberate causing bodily injury".
According to the judgment, the defendant is obliged to pay a fine of 30 thousand rubles to the state budget. Besides, he has to undo moral harm to the journalist partially, to a sum of 25 thousand rubles, pay off his expenses on benzine and his lawyer's services to a sum of 30 thousand rubles, "Interfax" reports.
"The court considered that the journalist was doing his professional work and the security officer, on the contrary, behaved incorrectly pouncing at a man with a camera", "Life News" quotes a source in Budennovsk court.
The position of Deputy Head doctor of the local hospital concerning the judgment is unknown yet.
