Website of Association "Golos" re-opened
The website of the Association "Golos" (Vote), which observed the elections of deputies to the State Duma of the Russian Federation and which was attacked by hackers on the day of the parliamentary elections, was fully re-opened.
According to the statement placed on the association's website, recently, the "Golos" has received an unprecedented number of documentary information on violations.
"Violations are committed not by parties or organizations: they are committed by specific persons. Therefore, it is essential to direct the evidence of violations against violators and criminals by filing formal complaints and appeals to the law enforcement agencies. This is the only way to prevent future violations," the statement has emphasized.
On December 4, the website of the "Golos" was torn down as a result of a massive hackers' attack, and representatives of the association reported that on the elections day many of their observers were threatened and intimidated.
