Employee of South-Ossetian MoD wounded at oppositional rally in Tskhinvali
On December 8, Soslan Gabuev, a staff member of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of South Ossetia, got a knife wound during an opposition rally in the city of Tskhinvali. This was reported by Uruzmag Margiev, the deputy head of the city GOVD (Chief Interior Division).
"Gabuev got knife wounds in his chest and hips. According to the victims, attackers accused him of the fact that he stood together with state guards in cordon of the Government House," Uruzmag Margiev stated.
The incident occurred in Theatre Square. Soslan Gabuev was brought to the Republic's Somatic Hospital, the state of the victim is unknown, the "RIA Novosti" reports.
Alla Djioeva, the former presidential candidate, whose supporters hold a rally in the capital of South Ossetia, has confirmed the incident occurred; however, she said that it was "a next provocation against the opposition," the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
