Dagestani native claims kidnapping of his brother

On December 4, unidentified persons kidnapped Magomed Mutalibov, born in 1985, a resident of the Suleiman-Stalskiy District of Dagestan. According to his brother Nazim Mutalibov, power agents are involved in the kidnapping.

Nazim Mutalibov, a resident of the city of Bratsk of the Irkutsk Region, stated that the kidnapping occurred in the afternoon on December 4 in the village of Ashagastal-Kazmalyar. According to him, about 30 law enforcement agents in camouflage and masks broke into the house, where Tkezban Agasherifovna Mutalibova, the brothers' mother, had been. When they asked, where Magomed was, Mutalibova answered that he was at his friend's place.

The law enforcement agents found the friend's address and went to him. They took Magomed from there and driven him away to some unknown destination. The power agents conducted a search at the Mutalibov's house, as a result of which they found weapons, the Human Rights Centre "Memorial" reports.

As of December 7, Magomed Mutalibov's whereabouts is unknown, and his mother did not appeal to the law enforcement agencies. His relatives fear that Magomed may be subjected to torture.
