Switzerland sends list of monitoring companies to Georgia within WTO Agreement
Switzerland has presented Georgia with a list of companies, one of which will be selected for monitoring the goods turnover on the Georgian-Russian border within the framework of the WTO Agreement.
"Today we have received a list of companies from the Swiss party. We'll review it and fix our position, but the choice is with Switzerland," Sergi Kapanadze, Deputy Foreign Minister, said on December 2 in the Parliament at a joint sitting of three committees.
The information about the list of companies passed over to Georgia was announced at a joint sitting of the Committees on European Integration, on Foreign Relations and on Diaspora Affairs and the Caucasus, the "News-Georgia" reports.
Along with Sergi Kapanadze, who briefed the deputies on the agreement signed with Russia, the sitting was addressed by Giorgi Bokeriya, Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia.
According to his story, "based on this agreement, Georgia has got the maximum; and the legitimate borders along the Psou River (the Abkhazian section of the border) and the Rocky River (the South-Ossetian section) were fixed, the "Echo of the Caucasus" reports.
