In Dagestan, investigators seek motive for college teacher's murder
Investigators focus on clarifying the motives of today's murder of Nazhmudin Abdulkerimov, the teacher of the Makhachkala Industrial College. This was reported by the Investigatory Committee (IC) of Dagestan.
This morning, in the village of Semender (which belongs administratively to Makhachkala), the deputy director of the Industrial College was found shot dead in a car.
"An unidentified person shot from a pistol to Abdulkerimov, who was in his car Toyota Corolla. The victim died in place from multiple gunshot wounds. After the attack, the criminal escaped from the place," the IC reported.
"Till now, investigators do not mention motive for the crime. At present, operational procedures aimed at establishing the persons involved in the crime and all circumstances of the incident are conducted," the RIA "Dagestan" quotes an IC's officer as saying.
The investigators examined the scene of murder and found seven shell and two bullets of 9 mm calibre and other items "relevant to the case." The criminal case was instituted under articles "murder" and "illegal arms traffic", the website of the Russian IC reports.
